Steve Andre has been replaced by Beth Bronk, anybody know anything about them?

Here's a bio write-up on Beth Bronk I found from a Facebook post from right before she guest-conducted the Heart of Texas Concert Band early this year:

"Beth Bronk is in her third [I presume now fourth] year as the Director of Fine Arts at Schertz-Cibolo-Universal City ISD, where she supports band, choir, orchestra, K-12 visual art, elementary music, theatre, dance, and cheer.

Prior to coming to SCUCISD, Professor Bronk spent 16 years as Director of Bands at Texas Lutheran University, where she taught conducting, instrumental music education courses, and directed the TLU Bands. AT TLU, Bronk received the Distinguished Faculty Award for Service and Leadership, the Baenziger Professorship in Music, the Harold D. Bier Award for Teaching Excellence, and was nominated by her university for the Minnie Stevens Piper Award for Teaching Excellence. She served four years as the Vice-President for Professional Relations on the National Council of Tau Beta Sigma, where she coordinated the National Intercollegiate Band. Bronk has presented nationally and internationally on wind band pedagogy, ensemble development, and intonation instruction.

Her public-school service includes 18 years of high school band directing and administration, fifteen of those in New Braunfels ISD.

Ms. Bronk earned her Bachelor of Music, Performance Certificate, and teaching certification at the University of Texas at Austin, a Master of Music in Trumpet Performance from the University of North Texas, and completed her doctoral coursework in Music Education at Teachers College, Columbia University. Bronk is an active clinician, conductor, performer, and presenter."

I think we should brace ourselves for the real possibility of only 3 state spots…

I hope this won’t be the case but Bryan Adams, Desoto, and Wilson have all received 2s.  Molina and South Oak Cliff earned 3s.

Now, three of the following four MUST receive 1s for 4 bands to advance: Naaman Forest (1s in 2024), Crandall (2 in 2024), Greenville (2s in 2024), and South Garland (2s in 2024).  There are other DISD bands that could get 1s but it’s not realistic, e.g. Samuel and Jefferson.

Yay for Sunset! I'm very sad the snazzy jazzy band got a 2-2-3 this year.

I wonder why Samuell doesn't have results yet. Also glad to hear Crandall got all 1s! Was worried they would get 2s again.

So we just need greenville and South Garland?

So if SG got 1s (and if I counted correctly) that means we’re exactly at 20 bands with a 1 and get 4 state spots!!!!

Prediction:

1. Poteet

2. NM

3. LC/ WM

4. LC / WM

No MP? I say i have MP over WM

Just curious, but how did you find out the results? TMF has not updated all day today. Did they announce the results at the contest?
