Sachse had a much harder show than what the kids were accustomed to this year. Even without the head director change, I expected them to have a down year. Nevertheless, those kids have nothing to hang their heads on - they had an excellent season. They will continue to grow, and they will be back!

Also, how is this thing scored? I see the judge puts a rank, do they literally watch the entire show and say “ok they should be 5th or 10th” or is there some sort of guide or rubric they use? Because some of these judges are way off of each other, just wondering what is the science behind it.

Do you have the full recap? I know in the past they've had a rubric and score them under different criteria under that individual caption. With the new judging system I'm not sure if there's been a change, but I'm pretty sure they use the same rubric

Correct! They announced after the weather delay that they would not be performing! Not sure they could have had a finals had they stayed due to timing.
