Even weather dude pete tonight was saying a lot could change between now and Saturday because the system is still over Arizona…could speed up or slow down…go more north or go more south.

descriptions got me a bit unsettled though, might look like an option 2 as of right now, for sure could be a 1 if things work out the way it should.... 3 isnt very feasible as of now.

Not at all. It just solidifies Heath as a 5 rather than them having a shot at the 4.

if its prelims only, in my order, give me Wax, Sachse, Forney, Rockwall/Heath, Heath/Rockwall/D-ville/LH (weather plays a factor in this)

I agree with most of this (minus my Heath bias) but imo I don't see Royse City placing above North Forney. I watched RC's show at their game against Heath and they just don't seem quite as clean/impactful as NF is.

We will not know which option is chosen until Saturday, and of course there's the possibility of it not even raining and the contest running on a normal schedule

I highly highly highly doubt they will pick move to Monday. There is schools for everyone and would cause all sorts of issues with security. This will likely be avoided at all cost.

I fully agree with this. Moving area to Monday is a worst case scenario reserved as a last ditch effort.

I agree with is accept with all the weather stuff and the possibility of only having prelims I could see anyone in like 7 to 3 category switching around

From what I'm seeing on the area C website, finals has a full band retreat this year, I was kind of disappointed we didn't last year, hopefully we actually get a finals, even if it runs late.

I've never seen or been in a full retreat in person. The DCI one's and BOA ones look so cool

Well yes but it was chosen pretty late and then it ended up not raining. Maybe we need to cancel it like today to fake the rain out
