They are definitely a dark horse to watch. After an unexpected change in leadership in Spring ‘24, this is Tyler Legacy’s first time with the new staff’s full creative input. Miles better than previous years, and US bands contest was a surprise, having scored .2 points behind D’ville and ahead of a few other names.
 

Growing pains to be had, and not part of the BOA universe, but they are ready to make room for themselves at the table.

Yes, they all finished…said they would announce but they went straight into 6A’s

Just announced. If I heard correctly, all 2A schools were 2’s. All 4 A’s were 1 with exception of Kemp’s 2. North Garland, Rowlette, Rockwall 1’s

Rockwall, Forney, Sachse, Waxahachi, and biggest mover of year Rockwall Heath

6-10 Box

Lake Highlands, North Forney, Richardson, Ducanville and my dark horse………Garland!!!!

Sachse whipped out the contras for Region tonight. Not gonna lie, I'm a little worried because a few of the members looked a little shaky with them. I imagine they have been using them during their rehearsals, so hopefully they can clean up the horn movements to where it's not a huge distraction.

I may need to watch Garland again to get another take on them. Although, I still feel that Tyler Legacy will be the biggest contender for the last finals spot.

I don’t think it’s worth taking them out this late in the season too risky and don’t think contras are gonna help that much to significantly raise the score musically,but I could be wrong🤷🏻

They should proably get that worked and cleaned by Area...

Right now, I think Sachse beats Rockwall with an excellent run (a bit better than their region run) and get bumped out by Heath if the run is just BAD.. anything in between, sachse gets the 4 spot over heath. no questions asked.

yeah it's definitely starting to look like that last spot is going to be between rockwall and heath

Sachse has done some major cleaning this past week and they look and sound great
