Yeah, I think Sachse when they have a good run, they're good in both music and visuals and can easily slide into the 3 hole. Heath does look good, and there's a chance, that maybe, just maybe, Rockwall gets knocked out of state contention again. Prelims and Finals Times will be huge factors though.

Dont these 3 play toward the middle and end of the day? According to the performance order list someone posted earlier? Matter of fact It looks like all the contender bands perform 11-16, kinda funny how that worked out lol

And take out Longview who will qualify but not march and bands that may not qualify, theres a crazy stretch in there for prelims

The one posted in forum is in fact Area order. They will remove any bands that do not qualify for Area and then assign times.

After looking at the performance order JJP going 2nd and Duncanville performing 4th is OUTRAGEOUS. A performance time can really make or break some programs. Good luck to those performing anytime before 12pm 😂

First one probably going on at what? 8:00 am ish? I do feel like those early morning spots can get overlooked. Unless of course you’re a band that the judges are already looking out for like the JJ, and Duncanvilles of the world. Any other ones you better bring it 120% to get noticed lol.

I do wonder though if Sachse’s performing order will affect them considering they have to go right after Wax, at least in prelims. Might be a negative comparison for them. I’d say the same about North Forney going right after Heath as well.

Currently the plan. Halftime may be better than the game if your FB team plays the way they did verse Longview. 
 

Only problem being visiting band is you watch everything from behind 😂

3 of the judges for 6a include Argyle's, Vista ridge's, and Lebanon trail's band directors if I'm correct

I think as long as all these bands have good runs, each of them will be fine. The finals order is really what might tip the scales.

Everybody from last year got replaced. I think looking at this panel, I think Forney out of all of the big state dudes gets rewarded more.

I know I know haha, I'm just saying that the judges won't quite have Wax as a reference point until Sachse. Just the bar being raised band by band might make it harder for the bands following right after that new set standard.

Comparison is just never a good thing. It takes all the joy out of watching for me because there’s a lot of good shows, but they just won’t make state because of rankings and comparisons.
