Friendswood got a I - not sure about Texas City.  (I didn’t hear the first set of announcements, and my husband didn’t pay much attention and only remembered certain results.)

No idea why the region has posted most of the results but not all.  Brazoswood isn’t posted, either, but was announced as a I last night.

Pretty sure the max would be 30, if every band received a I at region.  Would be nice, but probably unlikely.

I think last year 29 got in? I think. Hightower was the only one that didn't, hopefully they do this year!

I watched Pasadena Memorial’s band at Freedom Field. The visuals were really effective and the music sounded nice, but it was a little hard to tell which section you were supposed to focus on at times. They still have some balance issues since sometimes a trumpet or trombone sticks out too much, and there were dirty forms and feet timing problems. Once they clean that up, their show would be super effective and could possibly contend in finals.

Region 13 is today. They just haven't posted results yet. I believe Hightower is in that region

everyone got 1s I believe at region 13

The only ones to worry about in our last region are 

Goose Creek Memorial 

South Houston 

Goose Creek got a 2 in 2023 but a 1 last year, and the last time south Houston got a 2 was 2021. Everybody should advance tho next weekend

I too was quite flummoxed and nonplussed by such results. I possesed the immense privilege of witnessing the greatness and mightyness of the Clements band and guard during their UIL performance this afternoon and I considered their run to be extremely breathtaking, accompanied by a few minor errors that in my opinion ought not to have limited them of an all 1s rating. I am exceedingly bedazzled at the fact that their performance today was considered to not deserve to advance to area

ok clements definitely deserved straight ones but at least hightower got the 112, 30 bands actually have potential
