here is my grounds and ceilings area this year for the most notable schools. (true ground and ceiling worst and best possible)

 

Bridgeland 1 - 4

Cy woods 1 - 6

7 lakes 1 - 6

Cy fair 1 - 7

Cinco 3 - 8

Tompkins 3 - 9

Jordan 4 - 9

JET 5 - 9

Langham 5 - 11

Katy 7 - 12

Cy ranch 7 - 12

Jersey village 10 - 16

Paetow 11 - 18

Cy-Fairs show reveal is today and what I can tell you is I see one of the props right now and it 100% has nothing to do with pirates.

Can't say the show name yet but there is  about a 60% chance we die at the end of the show considering the name

I have nothing to do in class so ima give these predictions a shot 😅

1. Bridgeland I think it's safe to say that bridgeland is going to get area champs as they do mostly every year that I know of 

2-4. Fair Woods 7L- These groups are always neck and neck and anything can happen with these and is safe to say these are guaranteed placements for these schools and I really do hope 7L continues their momentum that they got at the end of last year's season and clutch that 2nd place spot!!!

5-6. Jordan Cinco- I was really rooting for these 2 groups (especially Jordan) and hope one of these groups go to state and hope we don't have an situation like last year 😬

7-8. Tompkins JET- Haven't heard much from these schools but seeing how they've been consistent around these placements every year they would probably be around the 7-8 spot for sure 

9-14. Katy Langham Springs Ranch JV Paetow- THIS IS AREA I!!! ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN!!!!!!! but I really do hope we can pull of finals this year with our show since we all think its a major step up from our previous shows and it would be the first in Springs history to make Area finals 😃

I wouldn’t DOUBT seven lakes sneaking up on Bridgeland, also, if Cy-Springs were to make area finals, I wouldn’t hate that. Especially considering I believe the last time was 2006?

Oh interesting because I never once seen a Texas shaped plaque in our band hall before for making area finals 🤷‍♂️
