In my opinion I agree with the huge improvement, however, the band/visual overall doesn’t seem appealing nor as clean as other bands in the area. Again, improvement in comparison to this season and as a program to last year.

When and where are we meeting to do the rain rain go away dances?  Surely Area C is strong enough together to hold off the rain.

Option B....we empty out Town East and perform inside the Lidz?

has anyone seen lake Highlands band this season? I'm curious as to how they are doing so I know where to rank them.

personally, heres what I'm thinking. I've seen all of the RISD bands expect Lake Highlands. I think Richardson's show is definitely disappointing because of how good there's was last year and now its not as good, and the tarp seems like a big disadvantage for them. I think Pearce has been improving but same as Richardson, the kids keep slipping on the carpets they have in the show. Berkner seems to be placing underneath Lake Highlands this season, so I am eager to know how they are doing.

I doubt Tyler legacy or heath would place in finals but it would be cool to see them

I wish we could have more state spots in this area. I've noticed this but many schools that are on the state level just can't make state because of bands that place super high every year and take up the state spots (think LISD in area J, or the Keller schools last year in area B ) . Like many people could probably agree that schools like the Wylie schools and many of the RISD schools could easily make state in less competitive areas. 

Just wanted to put this out there that no matter what the placements are this Saturday, every band matters, and your hours of practice weren't all for nothing. These are gonna be memories that last forever.

Don’t sweat it, its either a comedy show or predicting with hearts. Go look at the predictions page. You will find top 10’s without Forney, or top 10’s without Rockwall, or top 10’s without Wax. So….stick around awhile and you figure out the real credible predictions and the ones that are doing for fun. 
 

For record, I think both types are fine, just take them what they are worth. 
 

None of the judges are on here checking out what us keyboard fans are predicting 😂

Or maybe Forney can join Rockwall in the Hebron boats and toss them out on Lake Ray Hubbard and hope for the best run ever in the first ever water marching event.

In all seriousness, it will be interesting to see what they decide. We have the driest September/October in ages and this is the week it decides to come.

I’m hearing Town East may longer have a Churro Factory. May be time to look at alternative locations.

This was literally Area C up until this year. Having to compete for essentially 2 state spots. If you really wanna check something out. Check out 5A area C set up. It’s still baffles me how they still get 4 state spots when only 14 bands took the field. I know the 6 military bands are in the area and opted out of area c but still I’d like for 6 bands to opt out on our end lol mostly I’m just jealous lmao

Honestly. As a mesquite resident. Idk how that mall is still alive lol the sears is cleared out. We could perform in there !

I say we commission Jerry Jones to let us use the Star for marching competitions. TX HS bands is just as big in Texas as football and I’m tired of people pretending it’s not (Joker said it first right) nothing going on at that facility in the fall time anyway 🤷🏿‍♂️
