Yeah... Last year Jordan should have gone to state. But their was no 6th spot

Yes it would mean 12 finalists. Not sure when the schedule comes out.

The sceduale would most likely come out Sunday or Monday. If it comes out right after the region contest Saturday that would be a miracle lol.

I kinda feel like this isn't talked about enough but what do you guys think of the solos in all the bands this year? Anything you think should've been on a different instrument?

I can see Cypress Woods pulling the upset and win the area.  Their show is CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN and absolutely the most musical product they have put out.  Bridgeland is a fierce competitor, but Woods' show will likely score better on an Area sheet.  Cy-Fair will be in there too.  Now it is down to Jordan, Cinco Ranch, Seven Lakes and Taylor.  I seriously think Taylor can snatch one of those spots.  Seven Lakes' show could score better on an Area sheet compared to Jordan.  

I do not envy those judges.  Man, this will be a tough contest to call.  Looks like 5 will advance.

Taylor and Jordan are clean. Cinco is almost getting there!! it going to be though decision for that 5th state spot 🫣

As a Woods parent, Woods being first would be amazing. But I wonder if the show is geared more towards BOA than area? It's not really the typical UIL show.

I don't think Woods' show complexity is enough to win area, tbh.

Taylor and Jordon are amazing this year as well as Cinco (LEMONSSSS!!!). I really hope Jordon makes state this year.

Complexity is not scored heavily until the state contest.  Area is all about achievement and SOME design elements.  The band who performs what they do the best will win.  Woods has a very clean and highly well performed show.  If they score according to the sheet it will be tough to deny them.

Super regional is on the 8th and 9th and state marching comp for 6A is on 11th 12th and 13th I’m pretty sure.
