For those of you that don't know (shame on you!) Giant Steps is an awesome chart (its jazz, so its a chart not a piece) by Jazz Saxophone legend John Coltrane.

 

Here is a version played by a robot. All you Sax players are about to be replaced!

Haha. Pretty awesome, I think. I like reading all of the comments left by the peanut gallery about the robot. I'd like to see how they get the instrument actually playing. The fingerings could be self explanatory but the production of sound itself is pretty amazing.

 

I'll be honest. When I saw this post I immediately thought about jazz running and LD Bell. Giant steps with robots and trombones? Haha maybe it's a stretch.
