QUOTE (CHS King Mello @ Dec 19 2006, 05:41 PM) And that's not because of the Crossmen, it's because of the fact it's historically difficult to win division 1. The Cavaliers, BD, SCV, Madison, Phantom, and Star are the only 6 corps who have won a championship, and only 4 of those corps have won more than once. I'm not disagreeing with you, I just thoguht while we were on the subject I'd throw out a little known fact. Before this year, there had only been 5 bands to ever win Texas UIL 5A state. Marcus being the 6th.

QUOTE (Skippy @ Dec 19 2006, 11:48 AM) Boring shows make it to finals. I know, i tried to exaggerate a little but I guess I didnt do a very good job. They arent going to make finals with a show like....well, i wont go there.
-
QUOTE (Fortisimo @ Dec 19 2006, 12:08 AM) Amen to that- the staff aren't gonna be the ones that are marching the night of World Finals. No, but if they give the kids the most boring show ever created, they wont be in finals. Point is you need both

QUOTE (Skippy @ Dec 10 2006, 02:52 PM) Spirit + Blue Stars being good = a new 12th place corps. A new 12th place corps (being blue stars) = an incredibly happy day for me

QUOTE (MartinHorn @ Dec 9 2006, 12:32 AM) Pshhhh Adagio for Strings and Fire of Eternal Glory blow 05 out of the water. Volume wise maybe, otherwise no i don't think so
-
QUOTE (thesnareguy @ Dec 8 2006, 09:49 PM) Boooo. It's ok I guess. If only they actually PLAYED the drum break... They still had a break where they played. And im sure if they did it still woudlve been incredibly clean and the score wouldve still been more or less a 99.15

QUOTE (dmcolby @ Dec 8 2006, 04:08 PM) Cadets 05 If this was "your favorite ballad of all time" I'd say cadets 05 as well

QUOTE (LdTrumpetWailer @ Dec 5 2006, 07:01 PM) mine was a Nats this year. I had just hleped pull the big white tarp off the feild and I bawled for like 10 mins and then Mairon Rosander talked to us and told us he had never seen such a great show in his life. I love marching. I'm going to miss it. Myron* Man, that WAS amazing....I had finally stoped crying, then he finishes talking, and I couldnt stop again.

QUOTE (Skippy @ Dec 5 2006, 12:55 AM) Responsible adults don't teach drum corps. Aaron, we want her mom to LET her go to the camp.....

QUOTE (txsweetheart183 @ Dec 4 2006, 06:01 PM) Next problem is getting it through my moms head that I can handle driving with a bunch of strangers. She's completely against me going right now. I am trying to find a way. Well, its one of the staff members thats driving. Gino (not sure if percussion worked with him at all) the visual tech, is gonna get a corps van and pick up people on the way. So a responsible adult will be driving
-
QUOTE (txsweetheart183 @ Dec 3 2006, 08:46 PM) i made it too.. but i dont know how to get there.. =/ Do you mean you don't know where it is our you can't afford to fly? I talked to the director about an alternate form of transportation (I can't really afford to fly right now) and he said their visual tech lives in Chorpus Christi and would be happy to pick people up in the corps van on the way. Thats if you don't mind driving a very long distance. Just e-mail the corps director about it
