  1. Dude, I never said it was the defense's fault. I'm just saying if it ever is, nobody would point it out. I'm proving the point that everybody blames Romo, no matter what happens. Why just blame him. He plays for a TEAM, doesn't he?
  2. Correction to that last post. The second sentence: It's never the guy on defense that, if he would have made the tackle, would have saved that touchdown. Or the offensive coordinator that calls the wrong plays at the wrong time.
  3. Ya dude, it's so easy to point out the Quarterback of the team. It's never the fact that the defense that woulda stopped that touchdown if that one guy had made the tackle, or the offensive coordinator who had called the wrong play. It's always the quarterback. You sound like you belong on ESPN, or watch it religiously. The world's worst sports network. Surprising fact dude, there are people behind the scenes, like coaches and assistant coaches. I know... by now you're like "OH MY GOSH! REALLY? ALL I DO IS JUMP ON THE ANTI-ROMO BANDWAGON! I DON'T KNOW THAT THERE ARE COACHES ON A TEAM!" Yup... there are. I blame Jason Garrett for most of our losses. If you don't know who he is, he is the offensive coordinator. If you don't know who an offensive coordinator is, they are the ones who call plays. Yes, they do exist, even though you don't hear about them on the news, or see them on ESPN. And, surprise, there are more assistant coaches! Anyways, back to Garrett. The idiot calls pass plays when the run is clearly working, or run plays when the pass is working. You'll see what I'm talking about... well, hopefully not this week. But, next time you watch a game, don't concentrate on the guy that ESPN points out. Try to look deeper into it. Look at the plays, the set-ups, etc. THEN, you can talk. Thank you for your time. - Chris
  4. Ha, hey bro, got anything better to do than rag on the 'boys? Not the greatest idea ESPECIALLY living in Texas, or anywhere around Texas for that matter. Why are you only pointing out the bad things? I'm pretty sure there have been some good things. Unless you're one of THOSE fans. You know, the kind that loves to be hated? I'm just gonna let everything play out, and at the end of the year, we'll talk. Ok? Tony Romo is not overrated man. He's the Dallas Cowboys QB. That's all. When you help turn the Dallas Cowboysk America's Team, from mediocre to an offensive beast, it's kinda hard not to talk about him a lot, and praise him. Just saying.
  5. This sound crazy, but, if they beat the giants and go to the playoffs, I predict a good run.
  6. ....BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Wooooow.... just... wow... I have nothing to say except, you sound like Chris Collinsworth. Romo cost us the game? Ok, because "overrated" Romo is the only man that decides whether the 'boys win or not. Yeah, you are absolutely right there. Just like Bob Sanders decides y'alls games. Fantastic ESPN theory. You should do the radio show with Randy Galloway here in DFW. And yeah, I'll "?" you, because I'm the best there's ever been when it comes to NFL analysis, buddy.
  7. I don't do anything. Haha. If I could, I would play football too, but you can't in our district. I was very sad my freshman year about that. In my "free time" I just do anything, like make songs up on the piano, hang with friends, and play street football. When I go to college though, I plan to be very active in the experience.
  8. Ugh, everytime I look at those Cowboys vs. Steelers Super Bowls that the 'boys lost, I get sick. Yuck!
  9. Ya, I think Prothro's catch wins. This is a good one too, kinda lucky though: I didn't see if this one was already posted, so if it is, I'm sorry. lol. Btw, that Boise State vs. Oklahoma game was, is, and probably forever will be the greatest football game, EVER!
  10. Ha. Oh well. Hopefully we can do ok without Romo. I'm a bit nervous now. Fantasy football? I did not know about this. Oh well. I could never get into it anyways.
  11. Ha. I'm not hitting it. I'm just saying that's what they need to work on. I don't care if they go 8-8 and make it to the playoffs. I'm still confident right now.
  12. Idk. I think the best way to use Barber is when they need him. (E.G. 3rd and short, 4th and short, red zone, trick play etc.) I think Jones should be used more than Barber period. He has amazing vision for a rookie and can find daylight quickly and efficiently. His speed is really good too. I just think Barber is over-rated and over-used. That's all. He's good don't get me wrong. Just not an NFL halfback.
  13. My bad. He lacks good speed. He has a little decent speed though. Didn't mean to confuse anybody.
  14. I'm sorry but Marion Barber should not be the featured back. Why? Lack of decent speed. Sure power is great and he has some decent speed but isn't that exactly the description of a good fullback? I think he is a pretty good blocker too. Hmmm... I think he is more of a fullback. Plus, if he had the speed of Jones, I guaruntee he would have like at least 5 more touchdowns that he has now.
  15. So if you don't know, I am a HUGE 'boys fan. I just got finished watching the game. I'm not mad. Just disappointed. What's happening? It's weird, this isn't the Dallas Cowboys. It's just as bad as the Dave Campo era right now. I've got a few things to say too: 1. Marion Barber is OVER-RATED. That's right. I said it. MBIII should NOT be used as much as he is. He's not as good overall as Felix Jones. In fact he shouldn't even be a halfback. The only good play where he looked like a true NFL halfback was that one good catch and run for the touchdown... except he was 15x slower. USE FELIX JONES MORE! SHEESH! 2. Penalties, penalties, penalties... quit it. 3. Romo's accuracy has gone down. Idk why. He needs to be the original Tony Romo though. 4. Play calling... seriously. Pass more. Romo is still a good player despite his slight slip in accuracy, and if you're gonna run, use Jones. Only use Barber when you NEED him. 5. BE AGGRESIVE. I HATE IT WHEN TEAMS PLAY CONSERVATIVE. Anybody want to add anything or contest one of my points? I want to hear what y'all have to say. Keep it nice and clean. Lol.
  16. I used to despise Metallica. But now I love them. I've heard some of the new album. It sounds awesome!
  17. I guess not. How the heck on God's green earth did the Tampa Bay Devil Rays get good enough in one year to make the playoffs?
  18. Hahahahaha. It's such a mystery at our school. I want to know what it really says.
  19. Dallas Cowboys... The best there is... The best there was... The best there ever will be America's Team.
  20. I've always wanted to go to this contest. We were supposed to go my freshman year when I was at Summit, but we weren't able to. I don't remember why. This looks like it should be a fun one. Can't wait. :-).
  21. BOA Arlington Regionals was a unique experience for me. It turned out to be more fun than I expected. Great experience that I have never had before. Especially standing out on the field with the other drum majors listening to who made finals. I can tell you that Legacy was tense the whole time. My jaw dropped down wide when we were called. Good day. Congratulations to all the bands there! I loved all of the shows I saw. And good luck to all in the future. :-).
  22. Hahaha. Ya, band football is always a tradition in Mansfield. At Summit, we played all the time, before every friday night game. I'm at Legacy now, and we play every once in a while, usually against Summit (whom we always beat. lol.) . We are ok, but we're not TOTALLY into it, like, we don't create plays and stuff. We just kinda create stuff as we go along. I would love to play either Mansfield or Timberview though if any of them are seeing this. lol.
  23. Congratulations! I made drum major this year too! . It's gonna be my last year (Go Seniors '09!), so I was ecstatic when I got it. Good luck this year to all new drum majors, and may y'all lead your bands to fantastic marching seasons!
