  1. Might as well... Ambulance LTD Barenaked Ladies Beck Billy Corgan (Smashing Pumpkins lead singer, his solo cd TheFutureEmbrace is awesome) The Bravery Coldplay Dream Theatre The Flaming Lips Franz Ferdinand Jonny Greenwood (of Radiohead, his soundtrack to Bodysong is incredible) Kasabian Keane The Killers Led Zepplin The Mars Volta Muse (if you've never heard Absolution, listen to it immediately. This CD is amazing.) Nothing More (local SA band, drummer was on the Reagan Drumline...expect great things from these guys) Oasis Pearl Jam Pink Floyd Radiohead The Rapture Razorlight Spoon Wilco ...and about 1/2 of these bands are playing at Austin City Limits Festival this year. I'll be there...
  2. Sounds like its gonna be a fun year...lots of great bands at all of these contests. We're going to Arlington and SA, as well as Nats, which never fails to be awesome, so I'm definately looking forward to it
  3. --unless I am mistaken (which I may be), I believe you're talking about the Christian Bale who lost a lot of weight for his role in The Machinist, and must have gained much of it back before Batman.
  4. It was very well made. Chris Nolan did a great job with "re-inventing" the Batman films. For future reference...if you've never seen Nolans film Memento, it is definately worth a watch (or two if you wish to fully understand it). Anyways, Christian Bale definately did a great job with the title character, Michael Caine was excellent as Alfred, and Cilian (sp?) Murphy was great as the very weird (that mask was ridiculous) Dr. Craine/Scarecrow.
