We (Sherman) run one, sometimes two laps before after-school rehearsals. As for punishment/discipline, one lap for being late, two laps for forgetting instrument, x laps for forgetting dot books (where x=amount of pages missing) though this only happens in the early of the season, and five pushups at discretion, they can be given to anyone by section leaders, drill assistants, drum majors, directors, the people with the most honor (the not fat people) will give themselves pushups for screwing up a set. (like me). The low brass section does 'shups as a section. This year, our trumpet section is REALLY lax. I'ma try out for section leader for next season, and I won't have any of that, no sir!

I don't even pay attention to that most of the time, I can't here it over the crowd

We (Sherman) have lost our homecoming games two years in a row! This year, we're... 3-4, I think. BATTLE OF THE AXE IS IN TWO WEEKS!

We (Sherman) play ultimate frisbee all the time, I don't know why... But on the topic of football... We have a guy who thinks he is a bear, there's NO WAY anyone could win. P.S. He plays Bari Sax :~O and here's a picture!

The only time I've enjoyed electronics on the field was when I watched Allen's show last year. I thought it was the coolest thing EVAR when they made the fake explosion. The only electronics I know of that Sherman has ever used were MICS for the pit. That's all. Traditional marching band. That's how I like it.

I know, I'm sorry. "Way to be mature, dude." But I am so psyched about state, I have a feeling that if Master J. will let me have my spot back, Sherman will win state.

Mr. Jenkins talks about people talking about us (sherman) all the time. so i suppose they MUST have a forum SOMEWHERE...

Oh wow... way to be mature Connor. Anyways... Between 06-07 and 07-08, we (Sherman) replaced our head director for Ryan Jenkins, who previously taught at Tom Bean. Our band director before "Master J" moved with our third band director who was replaced by a Mr. Richie, who I hope is not in any other band right now. When our elder director left, he took our show with him, so our choreographer threw together a new one, which is why our show STANK last year. Now, thank goodness, Richie is gone (fired), but unfortunately, our second band/jazz band director is gone. We also fired our flag coach, and Richie was our percussionist, so basically, we hired four people this year, making a completely new roster.

at Plano's Clark Stadium, our (Sherman's) drumline placed 3rd on Sept. 29th. first went to Argyle and second to McKinney. here's the results: http://www.planopercussion.org/planopercsi...pdlcresults.pdf

a couple weeks ago, at the Mesquite Marching Festival, after we (Sherman) had gotten done playing, we (more like 5 of us) went to watch everyone else. it started raining. i stood there. in the rain. just watching the rain. probably looking like an idiot. for probably 30 minutes. it was POURING. that's all. :~D
