If I recall correctly... Last year, region 5 was at the MISD stadium. 2 years ago, region 5 was at Pennington Field and Area B was at Standridge Stadium. I don't remember Area being at Pennington Field ever since i was in band... But then again I've only been in band for 2 years.

we went to schlitterbahn for our middle school band trip. it was fuuunnnn. do you guys usually take trips in the fall or spring?

our ensemble got a 1 on "Grave et Presto"

i did that for solo ensemble. its a GREAT piece. i didnt memorize it though...haha too lazy...but good luck!

how many contests does an average band attend each year? im just curious because looking ahead to our schedule this year, we have a possibility of attending 7 contests total if we advance past region and area. last year, we had 4 contests total.

how bout this...trade our entire team for atlanta's team...they are looking pretty good right now. but on a serious note.. i jumped on the mavericks bandwagon 2 years ago when they made it to the finals. and i refused to get off last year after losing in the first round. now, im officially jumping off the Dallas Mavericks Bandwagon. boston will sweep detroit? no way. my prediction is either boston or detroit will win. The west is so stacked that whoever makes it to the finals will be so exhausted. imagine playing the Warriors and Suns back to back. ouch... anyways, back to the kidd trade. im a Nets fan and i am just SOOO happy we got this trade done. Harris is gonna be our future. we may not make the playoffs this year, but it'll be good for the long run. and those 2 first round draft picks should be good.

well in that case i hope they win again. i met their alto sax soloist today at region auditions and he was pretty cool.

i got 6th which is really good considering how i almost didnt make it past phase 1. i get to be first chair in the symphonic band. what a great day.

so i heard LD bell isnt going to GN next year... thatll be interesting
