marching season's not here yet because God is being gracious and giving me free time to finish school work/college apps/work and still have time to be a kid! Why can't Thanksgiving come more than once a year?
-
dang... I wonder if he'd switch places with me...

that's one big kid. I was about 6 lbs when I was born... CONGRATS! don't spoil him too badly like My uncle does to me and my little brother.

yah that was us. I was Timberview's guide at Pre-lims during that contest. and I can firmly say now that Bell's show is one of my favorites of all time. I finally saw the video on youtube. GAH! I WISH I COULD HAVE SEEN IT LIVE! IT WOULD HAVE BEEN AMAZING! (not like it wasn't already... but to get the sound live in person would have given me major chills) -
as far as the interpretation of Bell's show, I really like the idea that the girl is falling asleep and is watching her soul leave her. I wouldn't have thought of that at first, but once it was presented, and I watched it again, it actually makes perfect sense to me. I think it's largely up to the interpretation of the audience, which is something I like.

Because your true talent is in music, and there's no problem with that! Why do I spend more time at a friends house than mine? Seriously I was there for over 13 hours yesterday, and I'm going back again today at like 2...

has random bursts of laughter that cause other people to think he's "different" which is basically the story of most band kids, right?

well, 3 11 minute shows... I can actually see it happening. LIke Fata1 said, there would be quite a few dead kids by the end of the show. But those kids who started the trilogy as freshmen are going to have a breeze doing anything they want now. I'm glad programs like L.D. Bell, Avon, Carmel and all the other BOA bands are improving so dramatically each year. It just adds to a better DCI program in the future. -

weird... when I first joined, I was asked to remove a post about Marcus as well. I didn't see anything terribly wrong with it. I think Ms. Drinkwater has been there since "Fowl Play" right? I don't know if she was there before that, but that's the first show I remember with her name being announced... -

hahahaha. I think that's one of the first times I actually laughed Out loud when reading something online. My mom just gave me a weird look. It'd be creepy though if LD Bell's whole trilogy had 666 sets. -

I completely forgot about Sachse. While their show wasn't going anywhere really musically, it was still entertaining the ENTIRE time. It made me laugh every single time I saw it, especially the "Pirates" section. -
has a weird thought process to draw conclusions. but I guess you're right

well, if they have as many kids as Allen does, they can fill holes pretty quickly. -

78 sets for us. But 90% of our opener sets were longer than 12 counts, so we could have had quite a bit more. -

yes, you're correct. The Confusion came about between the difference of "The Engulfed Cathedral" versus "The Blue Cathedral" but they did use the same part of their 2004 closer in their show this year. -
haha, that's pretty funny how stupid some people can be. speaking of senior pranks... I believe our first senior class went to FHS, the cross town rival school and glued coins to the locks so that they couldn't get into the building. They had to have all the lock replaced. I also heard that they hung a dead raccoon in their outdoor facility, but I'm not so sure about that one...

has the same last name as one of my friends from Pre-cal last year. that sounds stalkerish... but I saw it on his facebook. =]

wow, one of those paragraphs is really really harsh. actually... a good majority of that is pretty severe. It may actually cause more problems than intended. -

I'll agree with that only if you don't count this year in it. lol. Sure, Ascension was amazing, but this years music just worked better overall. I mean, The Engulfed Cathedral as an opener? That's just risky beyond all doubt. And they pulled it off perfectly.
