    Would this make tonights finals a 10 band contest with 5 to state instead of 6?

    I think Klein Cain has a shot at that 5th/6th spot as they looked and sounded much much cleaner at region yesterday compared to Lonestar Preview. also with new score sheets that place more emphasis on percussion, I believe that will benefit Cain as their percussion was 2nd in prelims/3rd in finals at lonestar preview.

    Someone correct me if I am wrong but Waller is a part of Area I, right?

    I believe both Tomball and New Caney have a solid chance at area, but feel as if Spring/Cain/Oak Ridge will place higher at the moment. Area F is shaping up to be quite competitive this year and It would be really nice to have a 12 band final/6 state advancements which would allow some of these talented groups to not be left out of finals contention. I'm sure many things will change between now and area so it will be interesting to see how it all turns out in the end!

    No idea. I was shocked. I assume it maybe could have had something to do with field timing and not getting off the field in the 2 minute timeframe but Iā€™m not sure.

    Someone please correct me if Iā€™m wrong but 30 qualifying bands would result in 12 finalist bands, correct?
