Hey let's chill. I do agree with both opinions that we shouldn't base our placements off of KMF and that Tompkins is being underrated. I think it's 100 percent possible that anything could happen from within the top 8. Remember when it comes to area, nothing is ever certain (especially this one), so we must not take these predictions so seriously nor act like places are locked. For all we know anything could happen.

Jordan wins the grand championship, however I have heard rumors APPARENTLY Seven Lakes was a whole 30 seconds ahead when they entered the field, so they obtained a huge penalty. I don't know whether it's true or not, but that is what I'm hearing is the explanation for them not getting as high of a score as expected. Props to Jordan though, excellent show. Unfortunately, I wasn't given score sheets so I have no idea about which captions. Also the gap between Cinco and Jordan was WIDE. 3 and a half if I'm not mistaken.

Yeah gonna say this respectfully I do not think Seven Lakes is getting upset here this time.

Wouldn't put Cy-Fair so low just yet. We got a remember these 2 contests ALWAYS have very interesting and skewed judging in between. Clear Brook made top half at Conroe, but at South Houston they got 18th? Not to mention Cy Fair got 1st at North Houston while Friendswood got 10th? (i believe?) And all the sudden within a week they're switched? I think we should definitely wait another week or two. It's inconsistent, and we have no idea how Cinco or Jordan would do because they didn't compete.

Watched SL on Thursday. They in my opinion might have the best show here. HOWEVER, they do need to clean a LOT of things up. I think they still place top half but they will probably get around that 3-6 range

Prediction as someone who is not participating in this contest! 1. Pearland (V), (GE) 2. Seven Lakes (M) (Their show is REALLY effective this year, I think they'll be enough here to medal at least) 3. Cy Fair 4. Klein Oak 5. CTJ 6. Cy Wood 7. Dawson (In prelims I think 4-7 will be very close, and possibly in finals too. These 4 programs could end up in these 4 positions in my opinion). 8. Clear Brook 9. Friendswood 10. Dickinson 11. SFA 12. Foster ---- 13. Clear Lake (BIG dark horse to snatch a spot in the bubble) 14. Churchill Fulshear (Another band that could also take a spot)

Looks good. Music content is nice, and it does need a bit of cleaning at some moments. Visually, it's also fairly clean except for some moments. However, I don't think this will be in the shots for state just yet. Don't get me wrong, this program has stepped up this year for sure, and Id say they have a great attempt at making it into finals and a bit deeper, but I don't think it's up at that register of beating Cinco, Jordan, Tompkins, or Jet just yet. There is still a month left, and so I do look forward to seeing them continue to polish that, and maybe I am wrong about the state chances. This area after all is the area where everything could be different than expected lol.

Woodlands will be placed/scored in prelims, but they just won't be put in finals. Same with Tomball Memorial if that is true. So the bands in 13th and 14th will move up and perform in finals.

Not even in this area but WOW Dawson's show.... really sick stuff. Wouldn't be surprised if they upset Pearland but we'll have to see

Finals Predictions based on the leaks/news I've seen: 1. Bridgeland 2. Cy-Fair 3. College Park 4. Cy Woods 5. Dickinson 6. North Shore 7. Clear Brook 8. Friendswood 9. Cinco Ranch 10. JET 11. Shadow Creek 12. Churchill Fulshear ---------------------------- 13. Klein Cain 14. Spring/Oak Ridge IF Woodlands attends finals, they'd be first, sliding everyone down a spot. IF Tomball ends up attending finals, I'd put them at that 6th spot, sliding everyone else below down. I think the last 3-4 spots could genuinely be anyone's.

Really rough draws for JET and Jordan because if I am not mistaken, they play a game the day before, and they seem to be likely in the morning block 😬

JET kid here: This was a dirty run we had in early August (legit one week after we started drill lol). The rest of the show definitely has harder content and more stuff! We are way past this dirty run and have more of our show down as well!
