Yeah, if you're used to playing trumpet, high range on mellophone is way easy. It's pretty much exactly the same as a trumpet, just bigger, and a different sound.

State '02. Like every band had members eat it in the mud. And man, that taco tuba was ridiculous. For me, this one rehearsal at Crossmen, I had this one set where I was doing 6 to 5's back and to the left, and then had to push hard stright right. Well, it was on some crappy field in denver that was really muddy, and i ate it in the mud. Since I was in the front, most of the hornline saw me and all started cracking up, and no one could play their horns for the rest of the rep.

They will get a staff in time. They probably already have people they want in mind. For all we know, the new staff could be better than the old one.

We'll see. A director change didn't exactly throw our band off track did it nathan?

This year, by far. My drill in the opener is a lot harder than anything I ever marched in drum corps.
