I really liked blue spring but is it just me . I just expected more especially since the show they had last year. Maybe I’m just over thinking but it just wasn’t as good . Still incredible just not as amazing as last year -

1. Broken arrow 2. Blue springs 3–5. Rosemount / Haltom / Jenks 6. Coppell 7. Ld bell 8. Lake Travis 9. Bixby 10. SFA 11. Union 12. O Fallon 13. Camdenton 14. Franklin After seeing all of these Texas band within the last weeks this is what I think. Not very impressed with bell this year. I mean of course they are great but it’s just not one of my favorites . We already know broken arrow is going to win again. With coppell I think they have a really good program this year but idk if it’s enough to break top 5. With Jenks I really loved there show last year and I’m excited for this year . And Rosemount is always one of my favorite bands each year . And out of all of haltoms shows this is my favorite along side haltom 2017. But I have high hopes for them . And I’m really looking forward to seeing lake Travis as well. Incredible program this year . I really hope to see all these tx bands here and I hope Carroll can squeeze in there as well ! -

It’s very possible . I’d love to see it happen. But I think atleast one will be left out . -
Carroll- from the start props look awesome. Very excited to see this show, I’ve heard a lot of good things. Color guard uniforms are super unique and different and I really dig it. I really love the music selection. Wow very impressive first movement . And that soloist is incredible. Always have a soft spot for rite of spring. Visually also very impressive. And color guard looks so good . Ballad flags are so beautiful. And music as well . Music is very difficult and they executed it the best as the could. Still really loving the performance all the way throughout. I really really enjoyed this show . Great job Carroll

Aledo - just from the start I’m really loving these uniforms . So great! I also love how the bands faces are painted . Very neat. Opening hit was very powerful and very exciting , BRAVO. High brass feature within the cages props is solid. I really think these props are so neat. Reminds me of cross men a few years ago. Loved the last movement. Africa by Toto . Overall very solid show and they really performed it well.

Haltom - intro was so unique and different and really got me interested in the show. All I can say is visually this show is sickening and the music throughout is so great. Wow. Colorguard is looking really good and probably the most together that I’ve ever seen them. The ballad was really beautiful and gave me chills . And what can I say the ending is just WOW! Very impressive . Can’t wait to watch them and all the Texas band s in St. Louis next week. Brilliant show with an incredible color scheme , uniforms and theme.

All I know is that they are very on the down low . Haven’t seen any videos. They haven’t gone to any contest yet. They’ve been very on the hush hush don’t share type of year . Which I think it is good for them cause nobody is gonna expect what they are doing. It’s kinda like a surprise. I know they only have like two real contest this year. St. Louis and duncanville . They do an exhibition next Saturday for BISD marching contest but they are just keeping it kinda hidden and a mystery and I really dig it tbh. Gives me something to look forward to. I was lucky enough to go to the BISD fest last night tho and see Richland ,haltom and birdville and haltom just did it for me. Excited to see what comes there way. -

All I’m going to say is I saw haltom for the first time since the beginning of August and omg is this show really coming together well. Two more weeks to perfect and I think they are really gonna turn some heads . Uniforms are stunning . Guard is on point . Music is beautiful and props are really neat. Excited to see them and all other Texas groups in St. Louis . -
