We will be competing in Area F and we are a Houston area band that has gone to state for 5A every time for the past 7/8 years whenever we opened. I’m not sure but there was some talk of BOA this year, we definitely have amped up on our sounds even from state last year, but as a new 6A this will be a tough year as we take on the Woodlands and some other strong schools in our area.

I want to hear Sound of Silence by Disturbed, it could be a really cool as an opener or closer.

Tomball Memorial presents Clair de Loon, it’s about schizophrenia and includes Claire de Lune, Serenade Schizophrana, and has deep, dark, and twisted chords. A real haunting show! I’m excited!

I think this contest has a ton of really talented programs and that there are going to be quite a few band on the edge of making it to finals or not.

Tomball Memorial marches roughly 305, Tomball 275

Where do you expect Tomball Memorial to finish? They beat out Cy-Woods, Kempner, and Clear Falls which are all 6A, and swept finals at Area by 11 points. If they continue to improve at the rapid rate they’ve been going, I think they definitely have a shot.

One band off of most of the lists I see is Bryan. Bryan had an extremely strong performance at the Katy Marching Festival, close with Tomball Memorial. They advanced to finals but were unable to compete as two of their band kids were sent to the hospital. I think for a lot of schools, Bryan is one of the top bands in our area to watch out for.
