not even... the tenors and the baris all tried out for the top band and mrs rhodes put nobody in the top band at all... therefore im first chair in the school but still in the second band until next semester... everybody get it??? okay...because it's not really that serious to be tryna go back and forth on...

WESTFIELD BEATS PLANO!!!! 31-27!!!! after coming back at the half losing 10-21 man...im so EXCITED...especially since i was at region band the whole time...i was super nervous... we play ALLEN NEXT!!! the super huge big enormous band that i get to see... i knew that we could do it... that's cuz we PLANO games...yeah...

Travis Sims was in the pit in his freshmen year (04)...he didn't start marching bass drum until sophomore year then snare this year... remember...he kept the pulse in the opener of "The Game Within" and he had that big thing with all the pegs that he had to roll across the wooden board...

im the first chair bari sax at Westfield...but there's only 2...in the whole band...in 2nd band right now but i will be in 1st next semester... im also african-american...

i like physics since i don't have to understand it in order to pass the class...

amen sista-girlfriend! we have our lil drama in our band but when it comes to having fun...everyone seems to participate and make the best out of any situation...especially on trips remember Westfield...(HEEYYYY!!!)...hahaha.

hahaha...keeps a lickin... one time we had an alternate to was about to march as "pac-man" in the pre-show of Westfield's 04 program...luckily for him/her, it got cut...

I've met a lot of different bands at competitions and u seem to get a chance to talk to students from other bands...so tell me which band you think has the coolest group of kids in their band program??? personally...i like the winston churchill kids...they're tight wit me...we can kick it in my hood any day, yo!

when u walk in the band hall arguing about marching shows and which ones are better... when u are trying to learn another instrument for fun... when you know how to set up the performance stage for concert season... when you play your region music by memory... when you get pissed because you chipped your reed... when you get mad because you aren't first chair or you don't get first part... when you are sitting on a band forum telling other people how u know when somebody is a band nerd...

oh ok...i was just wondering... Geiger is a pretty cool dude...with his overwhelming knowledge in music...he's also funny and he knows what he's doing....he's just a great guy overall and i respect him to the highest seeing everything he has done for the westfield band and other bands that he has helped out.

Westfield 06' - BOA Houston pre-lims performance... at the beginning of our opener after are intro...everyone has to step off... in the french horn section, one french horn forgot to step off on beat one and caused the french horn in front of him to step on his foot while marching backwards and fall...allow a TRAIN of other french horns to fall as well...one by one they tumbled and mouthpieces flew everywhere and it was crazy...we still made finals but man that had me worried... good thing i play the saxamaphone...
