  1. eew that's rather gruesome
  2. So I'm in CREW... (people who set stuff up) and I'm going to the band hall tomorrow for like a work day. I have a feeling I'll be moving smelly, mildewed, year-old water bottles out of the attic. Does anybody want one? P.S. Any tips, pointers, hilarious experiences while doing this stuff?
  3. Besides all the Westwood band stuff, I shall be going to the UT Austin Camp. I haven't been there in a few years. I'm so excited!
  4. Enough about prom, what do you guys actually consider a hot date? Sauna? Blow Drying contest? Hot coals? What?
  5. Ryan, Ryan, Ryan. The word is not "I are excited." It's "I is excited." Get it right, or don't say it at all! Geez, you're supposed to be in TAG? *sigh* Shannon

Oh no, you just couldn't let it die could you. Every time Ryan, every time! *sigh* So excuse me, my "deltroids" are bigger! ha! ha!
  7. Isn't there like one guy with a five valve, two belled baritone? Yep, it's always nice to see 76 year old tuba/euph players. P.S. The day after Thanksgiving is the biggest Christmas shopping day of the year. Christmas season is upon us Zach!
  8. What's Tuba Christmas? Gah! Well it's really a massive gathering of tubas and euphs and baritones (etc.) to play christmas carols for the public. It's fantastic, there's usually donuts, orange juice, and really cool horn decorations. Here's the site for info: http://www.tubachristmas.com/
  9. Wow she is quite adorable. How is it with a brand new little sister?
  10. So December is rolling around, and that means it's time for Tuba Christmas. Will you go? If you do where is yours held? It's an awesome event and a must for all euphs and tubas!
  11. I guess it really just depends on who you are. If making friends comes easily to you, and you could adjust to the change, you should consider it. If you're going to arrive at Akins and be miserable for the rest of your 2 years (sophomore right?), then you shouldn't do it. I guess it's a matter that whatever you do you have to fully commit to trying to make it work. I know it would be a very hard adjustment, but I think being content is a mindset. As for grades, being in the top 10 percent isn't as crucial as receiving an education that will prepare you for college (althought if that's the only way of getting accepted into a college for you, that's a different scenario). Oh well, I guess I don't really know exactly what your situation is, but I tried.
  12. When you start composing music in your ice cream during lunch.
  13. One Day I'll Fly Away It's in the Moulin Rouge soundtrack, sung by Nicole Kidman. Oh so good... *sigh*

LIAR! You didn't beat me! Sure you were winning, but you never finished it! HAHAH!! Oh well, I don't plan on ever arm wrestling again, so we'll never know.
  15. WHOOOO!! WESTWOOD!! YA! Yeah to bad that stupid kid t3hzm4n goes there too.... bummer.....
  16. Shoes? What are you talking about? I defy gravity! Why does gravity exist anyways? We'd all weigh a lot less if it would just die...

Hey, how many girl euphs use this site?? It's funny, cause you can usually pick them out as the girls with the biggest biceps. It's kinda makes you sad to beat a boy at arm wrestling, but not really.
  18. Thanks, we don't always get a lot of comments, so thank you. Congrats to all the bands who performed, we've had our first competition, so now we get to build on that! The reason why everyone did better at finals performance? was THE DANG STUPID SUN. It's not a good combination when you march at 12 in the afternoon in all black uniforms - marching field = easy bake toaster oven. Anyways, now that that's over and done with, goodluck to all in Westlake! Westwood won't be there, but we wish we could be!
  19. Is it just me who liked the crying woman? The bats are good, too.
  20. Crap. That is the best video I've seen in a long time. I had a good laugh. Thanks.
  21. Hey mbui. I'm his girlfriend.
  22. A question like this really doesn't have a fair answer. A relationship in highschool is really a learning experience. Whether you want to marry the person or not, it is important to understand how to treat another correctly. If you have the patience, tolerance, and selflessness to grow close to someone and allow them to understand you like no one else, it can be the most amazing experience. It also depends on your maturity. Liking someone and daydreaming about them is different from loving them, that's one reason why I get annoyed when people meaninglessly write "I love you!" everywhere they can. Your feelings are you're own, flaunting them on the web especially is quite puerile. Maybe highschool isn't the place for some people to "go out" and miraculousy find their spouse, but eveyone has to start somewhere. Don't condone reltionships when you haven't given them a fair chance. OH! and Dynasty just for your enjoyment: im soooo kul rly thar IS kno rEsON ud tink im knot 4sur!!!!!!!1!! Read it sucker! I know you hate it!
  23. "We want you to play so loud that all the old ladies at home have to go to the fridge and get a drink." It really makes no sense when you think about it. Since when do loud sounds make you thirsty?
  24. *While doing the Hindu (posture exercise)* "Make sure you're knees are NOT stacked on your legs!" And then there's the: "Lisa our newly erect.....elected Freshman Rep." ^That was in front of ALL the parents.
  25. Yeah... well mine would be "Always a Woman" by Billy Joel. Ever heard of that one?
