music for band is not a "song" when you refer to something that you will play, you call it a "piece" Only singers have songs. Just my 2 cents

the amount of time for rehearsing this stuff is far too limited, that's what i've learned. Basically at many schools; the stand tunes you play arent by choice of the directors, but by choice of the drill/dance team directors. I kinda hate cuz it leaves us no time to do something that we want to do.
