I would personally have to say either Harlingen or Harlingen South, they are, trust me, insane. We were in the same festival as them and we came in third, so i guess we're decent. not good, but not bad, we're okay.

To be perfectly honest (and blunt), I don't really think I can give an accurate choice on these shows. I'm too much of a Phantom Regiment phan. I think if PR should win a Championship with a tie; it should be 1989! First off they should won in 1996, not tie. Secondly i think PR and SCV are both as high-quality as you can get, and they, deserve to both win.

The Cedar Park High School Wind Ensemble is playing: The Stars and Stripes Forever. Molly on the Shore by Granger and Trittico (By far the coolest song i've ever played in concert band)

My favorite DCI show of all time is: Ok, ok, ok i can't say just one, cause personally i like a lot of them so i'll just keep it to like each corp i want to say. Phantom Regiment: Faust, Apasionada 874, New World Symphony, and just about everything else they played!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Hint: PR is my favorite corp.) Cavies:Machine, 007, and Frameworks. Madison: Jesus Christ SuperStar SCV: Phantom of the Opera, Schaharazade (sp?), New Era Metropolis Thats it.

Lets see here, this year is my final spring trip with my band cause i'm graduating. So we're going to DisneyWorld. Spring Trips in Review: FRESHMAN YEAR: SOUTH PADRE ISLAND This trip was horrible, the power went out, it rained. But all in all i was rooming with pretty fun kids so i had a good time. Oh we also went on some stupid dolphin watch cruise that ended with a bonfire.(more like a campfire). SOPHMORE YEAR: INDIANAPOLIS/CHICAGO *NATIONAL CONCERT BAND FESTIVAL* The second half was fun, like insanely fun. But the actual concert band festival was awefull, you had to be in full dress when you walked around, no one came to see our concert, and then to top it off your scheduled every waking minute. Chicago was awesome though. Blue Man Group definitly a must-see before you die. JUNIOR YEAR: CORPUS CHRISTIE This was the best trip to date. We played on the beach almost non-stop. We had a kicka** luao. It was quite possibly, the best spring trip ever. I even won a slap fight with one of our directors. We also had a karoke machine at the luao. IT was fun. SENIOR YEAR: ORLANDO, FLORIDA DISNEYWORLD!!!! Should be the best of them all.

so wait. Brass can still tryout? like for lead spots?

I would like to apologize for the stupidity of my high school students. But, i would also like to state that, ya'll aren' the only school whose gotten defaced by the rival. Our school, my freshman year, was spraypainted all over, and apparently so did our trailer, with graffiti saying how Leander was gonna romp all over us in football. But i would still like to apologize for the idiots at my school. Rest assured the band had nothing to do with it.

Why do you say Allen? Sheer size? or are they just insanely loud?

Who do you think was the loudest band this year? I can't really say because i didn't think many bands got loud this year. Like, personally, a lot of bands stayed within a certain volume range so that they would sound better. Again, thats my opinion, so please just say your opinion and don't fight!

Would anyone who saw prelims give a review? PLZ? I would be most grateful!!!

As far as I know, the Cedar Park Wind Ensemble *might* be playing (cause we're still thinking about it) is: Molly on the Shore Trittico (sp?) and a third one to be named later

I feel theres a tie between the: All Black look and This years All White look Both of which completly astounded me.

I have decided to tryout for the Santa Clara Vangaurd (becuase its at my school) and i'm also trying out for THE PHANTOM REGIMENT (becuase they've been my favorite since forever). I just wanna march basiaclly. But they're both good corps

So here is a post just for talking about how sick state is gonna be, look at the lineup we got going on!!! I can not wait! The Area D contestants are going to be: (Alphabetically) Akins Bowie Cedar Park Churchill Reagan (sp?) State is gonna be amazing!!!!!!!!!

Ok, i'm not gonna lie, my range isn't all that high. I can get a double G but it is a squeak, and only comes out on occasion. High E is the one that i can get with resonance. I play to low like .25 of the rim on upper lip, .75 on bottom, and my private lesson teacher told me to change and then he siad, "if it aint hurt don't fix it." and i'm still fine. Would anyone like to post a sound bite with them playing their range? Cause i'd like to here some of these super C's Thanks

Our band has our own football league! we call it the BNFL. Band Nerd Football League. We start play on fridays after football season is over and we play tackle and usually someone bleeds.

Well this kid, graduated from my high school, but i guess he was the biggest "rival" with me, because he was a die hard BD fan, and i am the biggest PR fan i've ever met besides my brother. And when i say rivalry i mean we would yell sometimes about the corps, isn't that right Euro Euph?

My bands show was said like a few months ago so i'm going to say it again. Cedar Park High School is performing the show: Fire of Eternal Glory featuring the music from Symphony #10 by Shostakovic and Fire of Eternal Glory.

Leander '99. My brother played that show, and whenever i saw it, it was amazing. I guess thats why it went o Grand Nats. Oh, and won a super regional.
