This is just a lot to handle, it’s also insane to think that 2022 was the last year we had all of our “main” corps marching on the field. SCV is back, but we will never see the cadets on the field again, there will never be All of our “main” group of corps at the DCI championships. This truly sucks.

It's really 32 bands in this area because Carver and Avalos Tech don't field Marching Bands as they are technology magnet schools in Aldine ISD. Also, for years now, MacArthur, Eisenhower, and Humble have received ratings of 2 and haven't qualified for Area. So, that really leaves this area stuck at 29 area qualifiers. Aldine MacArthur has been close to a 1 since they have gotten 1-2-2 from the 3 region judges two years in a row. That would be great to have 6 state qualifiers. The odds are definitely better with the additional of the Magnolia schools.
