TxRaider13 Posted October 7, 2012 Report Share Posted October 7, 2012 (edited) Mesquite Poteet will be making a return to DMI after going M.I.A. from here and going to Frisco instead the past couple of years. Kinda strange that they stopped for why they stopped, I always enjoyed DMI as a student and fan, always top bands which made competing fun, and I always enjoyed listening to top bands perform here. I always liked that DMI scheduled the contest that way All general information about the DMI such as date, parking, directions, etc can be found at: http://band.duncanvilleisd.org/modules/cms...97ba04587ebc208 The DMI is on its traditional date the weekend before the UIL State competitions which puts it on November 3rd, 2012. I've always liked DMI's date because you truly get to see everyone's finished product. However it does mean that you miss out on some of the top 5A or 4A bands (depending on who has state that year).
