the terminator Posted October 24, 2010 Report Share Posted October 24, 2010 I think in a way it is a fair question to ask. Because truthfully why are you in band. What makes it that you are willing to go through those long hours of summer band in the Texas heat. What makes it that you are willing to devote 8 hrs a week to work with all your great band friends to perfect a show. What makes it that when you just want to stop you put in that extra push and play and march that much harder when your body is telling you to quit. What makes it that you literally give up a social life? So everyone why are you in band and what makes you to strive for excellence everytime whether on the field, during a concert, or just a simple practice with nothing but you and your horn.
