TX Suh-nare
If what I've heard is right, Santa Clara Vanguard's instructional staff is taking SERIOUS blows as it's losing not only Rick Valenzuela, but also Murray, Myron Rosander, and Gordon Henderson. What's going on?!
Skippy
Not to mention the loss this past year of Jim Casella and Ralph Hardimon.

mbui
im afraid to say i dont think SCV will be in finals next year...no one kill me Ehh. I'll wait until everything (the rest of the staff) is confirmed. Even if most of the staff is leaving, there is no doubt in my mind that the Santa Clara Vanguard Board of Directors and Rick Valenzuela will find the best staff humanly possible for the organization. People over there aren't going to let such a historic corps go down the tubes. They aren't stupid.
CHS King Mello
im afraid to say i dont think SCV will be in finals next year...no one kill me wrong. If all else fails, DCI politics will not allow SCV to fall out of finals. SCV is taking major staff blows, but they will gain staff that is just as good, if not better. With time, SCV (like Madison) will become the powerhouse they were. ~>conner

mbui
but what if...thats my question, what if they dont get a staff in time, what if they drop out for a season, MY FAVORITE CORPS....AAAH IM SO NERVOUS Don't be nervous. It's a long off-season. They'll have a staff in place. The deadline for applications for the Corps Director position is September 9th. They'll be fine. Skippy
They will get a staff in time. They probably already have people they want in mind. For all we know, the new staff could be better than the old one.
TX Suh-nare
To add on, DCI.org added a headline in Capital Regiment's section Ralph and Gordon are joining them.
