Soonerpet Posted July 3, 2008 Posted July 3, 2008 This may be a lost cause, but I'm hoping someone out there can help. I currently am at the university of oklahoma and in marching band here, play trumpet, have been for a few years, however before that I went to The Colony high school and marched all 4 years there. I graduated in 2000 and have all my marching videos except two and hoping anyone out there might have copies of what I'm looking for. If anyone has a video showing any of this please get in touch with me, I'm desperate to find them to complete my collection. My freshman year at the colony was fall of '96, we played Carnival Overture for the opener and Appalachian Spring for the rest. We played at UIL that year, as well as BOA regional, I believe we came in either 4th or 6th, don't remember exactly. My junior year was the fall of '98, we played Church Windows and Pines of Rome. We also went to UIL and BOA that year, can't remember what place we got. I believe this year we also went to either birdville or duncanville and placed 1st. I really want to find copies of these two shows I was in that I'm missing. If anyone has copies from either the UIL or BOA performances, or anything else showing The Colony for those years please let me know, I'll pay to get a copy. If you need any more information let me know. Email me at SoonerPet @ yahoo.com Quote
Xenon Posted July 3, 2008 Posted July 3, 2008 Was 1998 the year with the big tower structure that soloists climbed up and played from? Vestige Video is likely to have a recording from a UIL event from 1998 and on, but getting anything that old from BOA is going to be hard.
