TrenBS Posted September 17, 2025 Author Posted September 17, 2025 This contest actually has a pretty solid gradient of skill top to bottom (Hebrons percussion in a vacuum is relative to Byron and Wakeland), I will withhold any predictions since Im not a percussion guy, but this should be a good competition for every ensemble size JFNDOWBFAN 1 Quote

AleeDiaz Posted September 18, 2025 Posted September 18, 2025 My Prediction for small ( That I seen leaks ) 1. HP/ TC 2. TC / HP 3. Mesquite 4. Kaufman/Terrell 5. Terrell/Kaufman 6. Naaman Forest 7. Paris ( No Leaks) 8. Stephenville 9. MacArthur (No Leaks) Captions For small Best Snares - HP/TC Best Tenors - HP Best Basses - TC/Mesquite Best Front - HP/TC A lot of groups sound very clean so I don't know if this would happen, Its a battle with HP and TC Both very clean group and it just comes down to personal preference. This is Mesquite First Comp and I would of but then lower like 3-5 but we just had a game against them last week and I think their percussion is very solid. Kaufman and Terrell are both other very great groups that will battle head to head for that 4-5 place. Naaman Forest is pretty good too but remember this is just for personal preference and I feel like I deserve more love there is a growing group. Quote
AleeDiaz Posted September 18, 2025 Posted September 18, 2025 My Prediction for small ( That I seen leaks ) 1. McKinney Boyd/Sachse 2. Sachse/Boyd 3. Lebanon Trail ( No Leaks ) 4. Trinity/Rockwall 5. Rockwall/ Trinity 6. Keller Central 7. Irving 8. Heritage ( No Leaks ) 9. Paschal 10. Lake Highlands 11. Sherman 12. Nimitz ( No Leaks) I think this one is pretty self explanatory, I feel like some groups deserve to be higher Quote

Im surprised to see Sachse so low but again, Im not a percussion guy so Im not going to say any of this is wrong. Congratulations to everyone that participated in this drumline contest! Its a low senior count this year so they wanted to get their underclassmen more experienced with snare and bass (tenor from last year is center snare). They are getting a major influx of members next year in percussion so I think theyll be doing 2 tenors 4-5 snares and 5 basses next year unless they decide to have a massive front ensemble WanderingTraveler 1 Quote
Keyboard_Fanatic Posted September 24, 2025 Posted September 24, 2025 was anyone else surprised that Hebron didn't do more of a sweep? Quote
