In smaller bands, feel like it is easier to spot when someone may be out of place. Kept waiting for a big music moment, felt like built up to some but never exploded for me. Wanted more from Tuba solo. Clearly not done with show yet. Good job! Quote
JFNDOWBFAN Posted September 28, 2025 Posted September 28, 2025 Kaufman HS “La Mer: Beyond the Sea” always cool concepts and great fan support! The tridents are visually pleasing! Strong, consistent music to start! Initial left block appeared a bit off making for awkward transition but made up quickly! Nice pit sounds 3 minutes in! The fans bubble machines, albeit clever, were a bit distracting! Still have not finished show but great foundation! Quote

Ok not on list but Seal’s Kiss from a Rose is. hmmm Liked the intro solo and I like “big sound” intros but this big sound overshadowed cool intro solo! Some Cool marching interchanges! SloW mid part led to a slightly awkward finish but sure they have another part to add! Hope last part picks up pace! Quote

Some nice but soft sounds. Loved that soloist marched back into place via running. Way to fill the spaces for midsize band. I wanted more definition during “Ashes”. Pretty song though, impressed marching band took it on. Quote

Great attention to detail. Nice sounds and marching. More precision than years past. Transitions between parts. Wow. somebody lost a shoe and kept going! Great job!
