Our show has 5 parts, we have learned all the way to half of Part 2. I’d say we have some cleaning to do still but honestly our show is turning out very nice, and we have all of our equipment early except props.

It should, Part 5 (the closer) is really short. Part 4 is really amazing though I can’t wait for y’all to see and hear it!

PM: Wow that low brass is beefy. Great opening hit that brass has gotten a lot better since last year. Pretty nice brass feature. Good stuff from the woodwinds. Amazing Job PM.

 

Shadow Creek: Yes Shadow Creek YES! My goodness that’s a great show right there. Some individual visual things but everyone is having those. Overall amazing Job for Shadow Creek.

MAN pasadena memorial has a lot on the field regarding choreo already, their sound is big and although it needs cleaning i can see it posing a threat already. One thing i can say though is that it is noticeable that shadows are in and from what i can tell it is ruining the cleanliness of the show a fair bit, but once they’re out and it gets cleaned, i could see this being a genuine threat

And shadow creek is not falling behind either, their opener is looking REALLY good for it being this early in the season, they also project quite well and im very excited to see how they place among the rest this year

Pasadena Memorial sounds SCARY good this early on omg!! Ofc a lot of stickouts but that’s to be expected! They’re so good for so early in the season and I’m really excited to see them in October!

Just a reminder that the updated 5 judge system will be used this season during area adjudication. This means that instead of 3 music judges adjudicating all aspects of music(ensemble, brass, woodwind, perc) and 2 visual judges adjudicating all aspects of visual (both ensemble visual and individual visual), each judge will now adjudicate a single caption with ensemble music being split up between the music judges like so.

Judge #1: Brass/Ensemble Music

Judge #2: Woodwind/Ensemble Music

Judge #3: Percussion/Ensemble Music

Judge #4: Visual Ensemble

Judge #5: Visual Individual

Hopefully we'll now have better and consistent judging this year compared to past years where judges had to divide their attention to adjudicate all parts of their music/visual caption.

Found this audio clip from clements from within the past week it’s a little short but you can for sure hear an upgrade in the brass compared to last year. Especially this early in the season can’t wait to see what they can do this year.

this does not sound very good... i belive foster is much better this year (again) i think maybe they could clean up but right now foster sounds much better... well see tho

PM also sound way better rn then clement's.
