Forgive this review I'm typing it as I'm watching it.

Part 1:

First movement: Good Tubas, woodwinds seem to be too loud at what I believe is the ephonium feature. Also see some spacing issues I believe. Good overall though.

side note: Your arranger did the same thing ours did for Canon in D by giving the trumpet part at the beginning to the clarinets and the horn part to the flutes.

Second movement: Lines pretty straight overall. Dirty trumpet run.

Part 2: Dirty trumpet feature.

Sorry this review isn't very good but it's what I got, apologies for any spelling mistakes.

Go get Phantom Regiment 96 at DCI Season Pass, lol

Part 1.

I am not incredibly fond of the confidence of the high brass here. They are very soft half the time, or maybe its because the woodwinds were just sheerly overpowering them.

Excellent low brass. At times, they were almost too loud, but good job. That is an accomplishment in itself.

I wish they would play the music more legato. Ending the notes so soon destroys some of the emotion within the piece.

I think the trumpets were the weakest section in this group. The woodwinds massacred their parts, and when the trumpets played it was mediocre at best.

There were a couple of spacing errors that I saw, except when it got cluttered, then you could tell something was out of place.

Overall pretty good. Could have been better of course, but putting a show like that on the field takes talent.

Part 2.

The timing between the tubas and percussion was a little off. Sloppy trumpet feature for sure. The trumpets once again showing lack of ability.

There are a few spacing errors within the woodwinds I see.

Drill got kind of sloppy near the end, but it looks like they recovered, so thats good.

Overall, the 1st half seemed stronger than the 2nd, probably because of the woodwinds in the 1st were more predominant. They tried to put some more pressure on the trumpets near the end to add some excitement, but the trumpets couldn't execute.

Only thing I'm gonna say is maybe they were trying to stick more to the concert piece of Ballet Suite No. 4 then Phantom's show there but it would have been much better legato for sure.

Thanks so much. Needless to say a section is as weak as its weakest player. I think I will tell the trumpet section to work at it a little bit more.

Oh yeah, What do you think of our uinforms by the way?
