Hi, I'm Martin. When I'm not playing my trumpet, I am playing games on the computer (what a nerd right?) and also I have this thing for drumming so I sit with a phonebook and some splashstick (rods) and go to town..lol But my Percussion teacher won't let me join because im his second best jazz trumpet player. Anyway, OTHER than band I just play games, listen to music, play paintball every so often, and I love to eat..lol

lol. I believe Summit has an awesome band director. Mr. Bonebrake was my teacher for 6th grade. He taught me all I know for trumpet....

Well.... Of course since it's the guards job to destroy all wind instruments in their way, I have been hit on my (not so) Funnybone during TOC of 07-08. And during my current show this year, a Rifle girl just has to hit me in the groin area when she does a stag leap through my line. Same spot..every game. And yes I'm hitting my dot, but she doesn't accept the fact that she has a whole 'nother count to spin her rifle..lol

So, even though most of us have almost no time to be playing games between Band and Life, do you play any? I play(all PC) Day of Defeat: Source, America's Army, CoD:2, and sometimes Fable. What do you play?

Well... This is a good warm up but also a good starting base for Trumpet playing I would say. Start by only buzzing on the mouthpiece. Now for your Embouchure, there are several different things for begginers. You could say the word, "Aim" Then tighten the corners and blow air into center of mouthpiece like you would a reed. But with a trumpet the center is more relaxed and the corners are tight unlike the clarinet. To buzz without forming bad habits, Buzz with your Index and thumb holding the very end of the mouthpiece without pressing into your lips. Thats pretty much all I think you need. Trumpet - Bach Strad...bell has random dents from Suicides w/ trombones Mouthpiece- Deathbed conversion.. from 5c to 3c... and currently the only 2nd trumpet who can play the whole show by memory Range- sucks... don't worry bout it.
