Warning newbie question Will tickets be available the day of the event or does it ever sell out ?

That may have been what happened, however the band director had never seen this happen before, so I would guess it is pretty rare. All that matters is the band is going to state!

Area E Sorry I do not have all the results, only got a glance at the scoring. The results were unprecedented, from what I heard the State had to be contacted, took 45+ minutes to do the scores. Advancing to State Brenham with a score of 11 Foster with a score of 13 Seven Lakes with a score of 13 Waller with a score of ?? (13 I would guess) That's right 4 of 6 bands qualifying for state. Really bizarre

Does not advanced UPDATED all results 4A El Campo Division 3 Bay City Division 2 Lamar Consolidated Div 2 Terry Division 2 Foster Division 1 5A NV Thurgood Marshall Division 4 5A Hightower Division 1 George Bush Division 2 Kempner Division 1 Stephen Austin Division 1 Elkins Division 2 Dulles Division 1 Willowridge Division 2 William Travis Division 2 Clements Division 1 Interestingly the Willowridge show was rather traditional vs. the usual show band performance.

Just wondering if anyone had the results from this contest? They were doing construction on both ends of the field during the competition, very disruptive.
