I do understand that you're a walnut Grove student and the way this message was written wasn't the most respectful but I don't think that's how they meant to make that come off as, I think they meant that as in peoples rankings, not their actual skill. Also instead of sending a passive aggressive response in the forms try sending a direct message next time instead of doing this!

These will change but these are my predictions for now 1. Wakeland/ Lone Star 2. Lone Star/ Wakeland 3. Lebanon Trail 4. Reedy/Argyle/MN 5. Argyle/Reedy/MN 6. MN/Argyle 7. Independence 8. Walnut Grove 9. Heritage 10. Emerson My 1-7 are locks I don't see anyone else going in there. I think this weekends BOA Prosper will determine a good amount with this area, especially with the Lone Star/Wakeland battle. Reedy tied with LT for 1st place in prelims at Mckinney over the weekend, and only 2 points off from argyle in finals as well, I noticed some funky things going on in their final run so maybe that could've played a factor for them. Independence is doing great with Mr. King placing well at WMI and MMI. Heritage sounded so strong and clean.

These are my locked in predictions, I think reedy and LT will be a great match up but I dont doubt that Rockwall could be in-between or beat both, so my 2-4 are a bit unsure but only time will tell... 1. Some of y'all seem to forget that reedy and Sachse was close last year... only a couple points in difference. I'm not saying reedy will win this but this comps top 4 will be close

These are my early season predictions... if i offend your band dont take it to heart :) 1. Wakeland/Lone Star - Wakeland has been dominating this area for a while now but Lone star is entering this season with a lot of ambition to beat Wakeland. In my opinion Lone Stars show theme from last year was way better then wakelands and I think it'll be the same thing 2. Lone Star/Wakeland - honestly both interchangable this season.. they're both insanely good bands 3. Argyle - great season last year and will stay great, they can only improve 4. Mckinney North - you can only do the same thing so many times before people get tired of it... I wasn't a fan last year or the year before that. It doesn't feel like "Marching Band" to me. Obviously still a great band with very talented students, but they gotta switch it up. 5. LT/Reedy - Lebanon Trail is a great program and last years show was fun, but Reedy is entering this season with a lot of momentum, anything could happen and Reedy placing over LT is nothing close to impossible. 6. Reedy/LT - Both very solid programs, just depends on who's cleaner when it's time for area. LT has a history of cleaning up very well when area time comes. 7. Walnut Grove - I'm not too sure about what all the hype is... they weren't that great last year, it's going to take them a little longer to get higher up in the rankings. 8. Emerson - I believed that they were great last year and hope to see them in finals 9/10. Very open pool.. could be Liberty/Memorial/The Colony. Too early season to be sure.
