    oh yeah i saw dawson's about a week back as well so i DEFINITELY know exactly what you mean, i could absolutely see them passing pearland this year area (although i haven't yet seen pearland's show)

    i think memorial performed at this game too i believe? i saw the video which they posted and it seems they finally have full uniforms and no shadows, they actually seem to REALLY be stepping up their game! this makes me really interested to see what they have for a little later on this season

    maybe its just me but putting memorial and foster THAT high are a little outrageous to me, i think pm could maybe work their way up there but i wouldnt put them there JUST yet. it's also missing dickinson which definitely deserves to be up there.

    After skipping to watch both shows, i can wholeheartedly say that dawson has a legitimate chance of beating pearland at area this year with how clean they are and how well they project. Not only that, but the general effect is INSANE! I am IN LOVE with the theme and exection this year! As for dobie, there is definitely stuff to be added, and it does need to be cleaned, but if done properly this could truly be a threat to other bands in our area this year!

    MAN pasadena memorial has a lot on the field regarding choreo already, their sound is big and although it needs cleaning i can see it posing a threat already. One thing i can say though is that it is noticeable that shadows are in and from what i can tell it is ruining the cleanliness of the show a fair bit, but once they’re out and it gets cleaned, i could see this being a genuine threat And shadow creek is not falling behind either, their opener is looking REALLY good for it being this early in the season, they also project quite well and im very excited to see how they place among the rest this year

    This actually seems like a really cool concept and could go places potentially even state if executed properly and cleaned well enough (and Pasadena Memorial has been getting a lot better at cleaning over the past years) so I’m really excited for this along with the other shows posted on the forum (especially Dawson’s it looks REALLY interesting)
