Idk what the reason is but for some reason I just don't see Foster placing that high. Do I think they're good. Yes. But at the highest I see them just missing state.

I could see Clements get first place at this contest because in prelims of area last year they beat out both Fulshear and Pasadena Memorial. I heard a snippet of Clements show and it sounds like there brass got way better which makes me think that the chances of them winning is pretty high in my personal opinion.

Found this audio clip from clements from within the past week it’s a little short but you can for sure hear an upgrade in the brass compared to last year. Especially this early in the season can’t wait to see what they can do this year. Clements Marching Audio Clip.mp3

I totally forgot about them I would put them in 10-12 which sadly might remove ridge point or george ranch from finals contention which sucks. This area has gotten so much more competitive since covid which will make this year and the following years results interesting.

My finals predictions 1 Pearland 2 Dickinson 3 Clear brook 4 foster 5-6 dawson 5-7 sfa 6-7 fulshear 6-8 clements 6-9pasadena memorial 7-10brazoswood 11 george ranch 12 ridge point this is assuming we have a 12 band final there is going to be a lot of competition for that 5th or hopefully 6th state spot I can't wait to see the results of this area its going to be a blood bath but this is going to be an interesting finals and area comp as we could be seeing some surprises and disappointments I also believe that we should not be counting Clements out of finals although they have had a surprising start to there season there is still a lot of time for them to improve and clean there music and visuals. After seeing their show twice this season at the Alvin invitational and usbands Baytown there show has a lot of potential to be really good and they haven't gotten to that point yet but i could still see them placing high in finals since they have dont have anymore contests which gives them more time to improve and get better.
