6 of the top bands in this area could be all make top 20 at state, and the top 4 could definitely make top 10. This area is just too competitive…

Personally I woulda put the order as Reedy, Boyd, Sachse, Independence. Also who’s that one judge whose rankings are so different from all the other judges? Seems very out of place…

I think LT will be ahead of the other Area B bands that are on the fence of making finals. In my opinion they will score better on BOA judging sheets than schools like reedy or McKinney north. Will be fun to see though!

Emerson and LS and Reedy and Wakeland were me favs

I want to know how you would rank these bands as of right now. I saw Emerson and Reedys recording and found reedy to be cleaner overall as of now. But yea I’m also a little amazed at Emerson’s improvement even from earlier videos. Haven’t seen a recording of WG. The 5-7 spot at area might be filled with these 3…

Is it crazy to say this is the most interesting 5a area? I mean I know there’s the cedar park rouse and Leander area but we always KNOW they will make it. This area I feel is always very interesting to see, especially for the 3-10 spots.

Cedar park is gonna win 5A again tbh, imo their show this year is better than last years design wise.

Saw reedys show first football game they had. Cool design/theme but idk if it’s as strong as last years show. Seems like a lot of faster marching? Idk we will see. Looking a bit better visually but seems like they are a little weaker musically. But then again they did have like 4.5 minutes of there show on the field and it was the first football game so we will see!
