Wylie is definitely locked in after getting robbed from State.

Wylie was definitely robbed. I personally like Wylie’s show more than Wylie East. Also, was not expecting PESH to not make finals. Prosper sweeping 4th kinda shocked me. The Sousas had some crazy out of step time in the back.

Is the finals announcement top 5 bottom 5 still? I’m hearing from other band directors that it’s random order? Plus, I don’t believe Wylie East beating Wylie…

Since it’s lunch break, what are y’all’s ranking so far? Mine is 1: Hebron 2: Wylie 3: McKinney 4: PESH 5: McKinney Boyd 6: Rockhill 7: Allen 8: Guyer 9: PSH 10: Eaton

PESH was so good. This is by far their best show and my personal favorite. I really love that drum break and the winds having pickaxes. That probably looks so fun. PESH is definitely gonna be coming back tonight and placing high. Probably 6 or 7th 🤷‍♂️

I have to agree, I put Wylie in 4th place for my prediction and I did not expect them to be that good. Like holy moly… Such a good show design. I’ve seen Wylie’s show probably 3 times and I always get goosebumps at their ballad.

Wylie beat Prosper in the Prelims and had a bad run due to the false start. But show wise, I personally think Wylie’s show is very creative and cool. I do wonder how they are gonna do the electronic voiceovers at UIL since it’s not allowed

Here’s My Prediction 1. Hebron 2. Flomo 3. Marcus 4. Wylie/Prosper 5. Prosper/Wylie 6. McKinney 7. Braswell 8. Plano East Senior High 9. McKinney Boyd 10. Wylie East/Rock Hill I feel like Prosper and Wylie are gonna be so close this year. Isn’t it possible for Wylie and Prosper to tie? I’m pretty sure they tied back in Area C 2023

Do y'all think Wylie’s show is more BOA or UIL?

Wylie has a pretty good chance this year. Them beating Prosper at BOA Prosper in Prelims was a shocker. Ik BOA and UIL is judged differently, but I find that crazy.

Here are the results!! I’m shocked Wylie got 4th in Prelims!!! Not sure what happened in their opener, but they had a really good recovery. Obviously Marcus sweeps, and Lone Star did amazing!!!

Wait, I’m confused. Lebanon Trail got 1 caption vs Wylie getting 3, but Lebanon gets 1st. I love Lebanon so much but I’m just confused about how the scoring works. I feel like I’m hearing things wrong or getting wrong information

What’s y’all’s finals prediction?

I managed to watch Wylie's show at their homecoming game last week. Their show design is really cool with their props being radio themed, and their ballad... Their ballad gave me the chills. Might be the best ballad I've watched from them. However, they do need to add more choreo. Otherwise, they have a pretty good chance this year, hopefully beating SLC or Prosper.
