    Heard a really loud, strong, amazing sound from outside the stadium, said out loud, “I bet that’s Duncanville.” AND I WAS RIGHT!!!! First time I’ve heard them and that was one of the clearest sounds I’ve heard!

    Skyline performs at 5:00pm, finals announcements are at 5:30pm, and there's a TCU MB performance in between those the first finals warm up is at 6:25pm and performs at 7:30pm so the could try to squeeze some time out, maybe by cutting finals announcements and just sending them out (which would be sad) or telling TCU to cancel (also sad), it seems to be hard to make any cuts in time Only taking top 6 wouldn't be super fair, there could be upsets and we'd never know. You still have to give those top 10 a chance

    Pearce has an 11:00am performance, but I do think their call time might be 5:00am or even earlier. Good thing their football game the night before got pushed up to 4:30pm on Friday! I know 2 years ago they had a 9:15am performance and it was their first time making area finals for the first time in somewhere over 10 years. And last year they performed at 3:45pm and got 6th in finals. So there's not much telling in having an early run, just hope for a good performance!

    Pearce's football game has been moved from 7:00p to 4:30p on Friday, I would assume they'll leave after halftime cause of an early Saturday call time

    Unsure, we've just always done it that way. I don't know if there's a specific reason, but it could just be scheduling conflicts

    I was over on the 2025 MMI forum and it seemed that multiple people were kinda surprised that JJ Pearce didn't make it to finals. Maybe adjusting to the new director? It seems that there were multiple scores at MMI that were quite confusing to people

    Well I think his kids went to Pearce recently based on what I read, so he does have a connection to the school. He’s really nice and is bringing very good energy to the program! I went to Pearce’s show reveal and it looks good! Coming along pretty well with music!

    I hope not, Pearce had a 9:15am prelims performance last year and had a call time at the school of 4:15am for rehearsal (it was an extremely exhausting day lol)
