Just curious, If you could play any instrument in the pit, what would you play and why?

I absolutely fundraising, because I have to do so much of it, being in Band, choir, Scouts and Venture Crew, but the easiest ones I've seen so far are the candy ones, where you have the chocolate or lolipops and you sell them for a dollar or so, because you sell them to your hungry friends all over school. I hear that our orchestra makes a off of these.

Yeah, I really wanted to take theatre, or maybe even dance, but there is absolutely no possible way to add anything else into my schedule. (see my previous post, I'm not listing them all again)

There was a chick last year who died of cancer I think, but I didn't know her personally, but she was in choir, so I heard a lot of stories from my choir director and the other students who were in choir with her before. There was a football player a few years ago who was killed in a car wreck, but I didn't know him, though a few of my friends did. The dad of one of our trumpet players died of an anurism a few weeks ago, it was really sad, because he was one of those really involved dads who everybody knows, he was a Boy Scout leader too, it was really tragic. There's probably been a few more, in a school as big as ours, but I'm not in the loop to hear that kind of thing.

What do you mean, silly? Allen did circus this year, "The Greatest Show on Turf" We dressed a couple of the shadows in clown costumes, and the guard had tightrope poles and big rubber bouncy balls. The Guard captain dressed up as the little at the circus, and I got to be the tiger, we even put a cage on the timpani cart for me. There's a picture of me in the tiger cage on one of the off topic forums if anyone's interested.

Thanks! You should see the guard captain, she's dressed as the little kid visiting the circus, in a dress and pig-tails, she's really funny to watch, because at one point in the show, she has to twirl a rifle. (We had a lot of fun making jokes about that...)

Freshmen are only allowed to do Pre-AP. but I'm in all Pre-AP classes, except band and choir, because they don't have Pre-AP forms of them, but I'm in select choir, does that count? if so, I'm in 6.

I'm one of those crazy overinvolved kids, we have a lot of those in our band, but anyways, I'm in School band (duh) and Select choir and the show choir, I sing in my church choir, and play in the church handbell choir, band, and orchestra, I'm a Scout, I'm in Venture Crew, I'm in NJHS, I do Academic UIL (science and calculator), I'm in Beta Club and Leo Club (service organizations), and somehow, I'm still passing all of my classes. Sleep is a hobby, and coffee is an addiction, but I enjoy all of it!
