you wanna tell me legacy didn’t have a better finals run than ANY other bands. Not a single other band in finals had a worse run than Legacy??

Legacy is only going to get smaller, yet the school is going to be 6A in a year or two. At this point I can’t wrap my mind around why bands aren’t classified by the size of the band, was Legacy expected to just pull 30 people out of nowhere to march?

Ready to see others finals predictions, these bands will be fighting tooth and nail to get into the top 4

Ah I just remember in 2019 finding out our prelims placements by word of mouth and it ended up being right

burleson centennial placed 5th at the 2019 state finals, and aledo beat them at the recent boa dfw for the finals spot, I would hope they didn’t take too big of a hit from the covid year but you never know until area

Summit beat Azle and Birdville at the same comp, Legacy beating Summit the week before…

schools records in terms of placements at the Midlothian showcase and the POC placements. POC has only been running 9(?) years so it would cover the 2009 era, and I believe a similar situation for midlothian. I agree with the POC, I believe guard scores weren’t taken into account for rankings, and I know at the midlothian contest guard and percussion scores weren’t used, of which legacy got the caption award for percussion and as i’ve been told 3 points (midlothian uses a 1000 point score so .3 points in the 100 scale) away from getting first over Lake Highlands who didn’t have a drumline.

I think y’all are sleeping on legacy, they’ve now broken 2 school records and beat out 5a state bands in the only 2 competitions they’ve gone to, and are the best in their respective school district, having beat every other band in mansfield.
