Wow. I go there alot. Probly cus I live so close. It's a little less than an hour from my town. We used to go like every 1 or 2 weeks. Now we just go to Corpus mainy.

Our Christmas concert is next Thursday... We are sooo not ready. Oh well... at least I get to play my trumpet for some songs.

Lucky! Well we can exempt classes too, but you have to have an 80 or higher which. The thing is, the classes I want to exempt are the ones I dont have 80's or higher in... haha. If I could I'd exempt Spanish and IPC. I hate those.

lol, its tomorrow. Lots of pple in band bough me reeds for my b-day and my flute friend baked me a cake. We had to give a piece to my director so he would let us eat it. haha. Well tomorrow is also my spanish teachers b-day so me and 5 other band kids decided take our instruments to his class and play him happy b-day...lol. When we got there every one wanted us to play it but we got embarresed so we asked if we could go outside and practice. So we went outside and started writting down the notes and playing... haha we were kinda loud so some teachers were poking thier head out of their door asking what we were doing. This one girl suck her head out and yelled "SHUT UP". This one teacher was a real #### so after getting yellled at by him, 2 pple got freaked out and decided to just go put thier horns up at the band hall, but me and the other 2 just said skrew them and kept playing. So he came out again so we went back to the classroom and played for the teacher. He liked it and said we did good and stuff. On the way back to the bandhall that other teacher yelled at us again and told us to go back to class. I just kinda started laughting at the whole situation but my flute friend was pissed, so she took my trumet and blasted crappy notes in front of his door, then we ran. He stuck his head out and gave us the dirtyest look ever... lmao it was great. Yea we could of got in trouble, but it was fun!

Haha, no. I dont even have a Pv lesson teacher. It would be nice to have one though.

We wanted to do Buglers Holiday for out trumpet trio but since the 3rd trumpet is a frech horn so he said the range would be too much for her. So far I think were doing either "Fantasies of Mexicac folk songs" or some other song that I forgot the name of... Im still lookin for sax quartet music though. I got a 1 doing "Arioso from Cantana" on the alto last year.

Yes its freakin cold.... unfourtanetly school didnt get canceled for us tho.

Hmmm. Something to think about. I'll ask my director about it. I just got my music for some area all star band tryout thingy in January. I think i'll make this one... the music is (half of) the music of next year's atssb region music. Only 1A's and 2A's try out for this so I think im in.... haha.

Some will let you try out as young as 14 yrs old. It depends on the corps I guess...

We just get together with who ever you want to do it with.

Anyone else using mutes for any of thier concert band songs. We are using them for one of our songs. There awesome, they make us sound alot quiter tho so we have to play extra loud. Oh well, it doesent matter. When we need to be heard, we are heard. When we need to be quiet, we are heard.

It would be pretty cool to do that. Its probly different music though right?
