Man I have a whole new respect for you trombones. I tried to learn one this weekend cus I want to do a low brass insturment... after like 30 minuts I was like "Skrew this im doin baritone" lol. Its sooo hard knowing where to stop the slide!

The music is on a five year cycle. Our assistant director said that 7th graders can have the music for when thier seniors if they realy wanted to. I got it by trying out for the "Brush Country honor band". The try out music is always the region music for the next year.

I got mine two weeks before the try out. Which TOTALY sucked. But I already have my region music for next year and I am already practicing and I AM going to make it. At least I hope... lol.

Oh yea I forgot about that.

Our band is pretty diverse too. We have everyone from hard core nerds (not band nerds, like real nerds, lol) to goth people to Varsity Athletes.

Our Solo and Ensemble is next week... we seriously need to practice this week.

We have a song right now that is called "The High school cadets" its forcing our clarinets to HORRIBLY go out of thier range.. bleh.

I need to get me some of those. Time to go reed shopping. lol.

I had a chance to see it on stage like 4 years ago but that was before I was a band nerd and I didnt wanna go. Man how could I have been so stupid! So my mom took my uncle.

I like Phantom of the Opera the most.

Well I still have to ask but I dont see why my director wouldent let me. We have like 7 trumepts already and a low brass section that doesent even play...

Yay I got my CD from honor band yesterday. We sounded so amazing.

We get our reeds free from our Band Director.

Heres another question. You know how like uner my name it says "section leader" well some people is different so how do I change it. Like someones says "IM amazing" or something like that.

I was wondering, if I wanted to start learning one of these insturments what would be the correct size to start on. Like I know trumpets start on 7C when their begginers so what size do I need to buy for euph/trombone if im a begginer.

I do tennis and basketball. I am doing cross country and track next year though. Band will ALWAYS come first though.
