Is being "hecka loud" a good thing or a bad thing?
In this case, it’s a good thing. Their music was clean as well as loud.
-
JET put on a fantastic performance. Visually clean and pretty loud and decent music wise. Could either be fourth or third
-
It will be super tight between cy woods and 7L. They added a lot of new stuff to their show and are executing it at a high level.
-
Cy-fair was hecka loud. They also added some blue sleeves to match the water theme. Fourth or third place for sure
-
Tompkins and Bridgeland went back to back (how fun). In my opinion, Tompkins triumphs bridgeland music wise and isn’t too far behind visual wise. Both bands were super clean, however, tompkins might pull ahead.
-
Do you think the 2 bands from each district trend will continue? Meaning it will be JET v Tompkins and Cyfair v Bridgland for three and four?

7 of the 8 bands made 1's, so four bands will be advancing! It will be great to see who can advance this year!
Its a given 7L and Cy woods will take top two. The battle for three and four is going to be i n s a n e. JET, Cy-Fair, and Tompkins all have very exciting programs. It's going to be very, very close.
-
I believe if four bands are allowed to qualify, Cy Woods and Cy Fair will be the the top contenders for the cy schools, and Seven Lakes and James E. Taylor will be the top contenders for the katy schools. Tompkins will certainly challenge JET for a spot, however, JET's program this year is spectacular. If the music catches up with the visual then they might have their state spot locked.

I think Vandergrift is gonna take it, considering Reagan isn't going to be there and they beat every other texas band at san antonio
-
Also apparently Scott Johnson is the percussion judge

Apparently Scott Johnson is the percussion judge

I think the top five are (no order) Brazoswood, Clements, JET, Oak Ridge, and Westfield.

I feel like the top five will be Oak Ridge, Clements, JET, Brazoswood, and Bridgeland.

The judges switch places between finals and prelims. Visual judges become musical and vice versa. This is why everyone hates UIL because nothing makes sense. Its like they picked schools and threw them in random order. The same thing happened in 2018, when cinco went from third to 8th and Jersey Village went from like 10th to 6th.
