wellll... the pure hispanic band ones are from like el paso (im hispanic and i was born there... ha)... it just depends in what area you live in

well last year i was 2nd in 2nd band (had some first parts tho) and this year im like 4th/6th in top band and i like it this year better cuz the stuff we do actually is more challenging than last year and i mean, come on, its the top band...
if you think about it, the metronome job is probly harder than just marching... you have to pay attention to the directors and drum major the whole time and if you make a mistake the whole band gets mad at you ... glad i was never a met person lol

we dont really have chairs...it goes like this: the people who were in it last year get the higher parts, the new people get lower parts, and it gets mixed in the middle a little.

a couple years ago, before they fenced off the practice field from the part of the parking lot students can drive through, people would drive through our field all the time and our old director would scream, "CAN SOMEONE PLEASE GET THE LICENSE NUMBER OF THAT @#$HOLE??!!" iono it made me laugh. heh.
