I respect those bands, my comment is more targeted towards duncanville and LD Bell

With that run they had, I give them 6th maybe even 5th. My big problem with a lot of these higher up bands is that they all never march and play. It is park and bark at every full ensemble moment. Then a majority of the upper bands will just abuse one soloist and a few members to create a small ensemble that play the whole time rather than it being a full band effort. It’s marching band not stand still and play band. It’s a BAND not marching small quintet

Mansfield got screwed. They only got placed so low because they went between waxahachie and Keller

You seem to post on here a lot. What are your thoughts on Timber Creek?

I concur, Keller is a definite lock in my eyes. Most other bands seem to have inconsistencies probably caused by the rain. The groups who really continued to work hard and work around the rain will be the ones to prevail on Saturday.

I can’t wait to see how shaken up Area B will get. There are way too many great bands and all of them are good enough to make the top 5.

I heard Martin show is really good across the board but I don’t see them doing well. Mansfield is a big underdog in my opinion, I can see them shocking a lot of people.
