So I went to a "showcase" of the 4 Killeen bands last night. All did pretty good, so I'm excited to see them go at it at Midway Killeen High- "The Fortune Teller" Ellison- "Brave New World" Harker Heights- "When Worlds Collide" Shoemaker- "Through A Warped Lens"

I'm excited to see Leander band rock the house as they always do. Choral Works is still hands down the BEST show I've ever seen. I'm also ready to see what bands in my area are going to do. The band to look out for is Harker Heights, they are flat out amazing and may be a sleeper to sneak into state. Belton High is another one. Since the return of Ed Stein as director of bands, he's brought a new school feel with an old school sound ( does that make sense??)

So I have a question. Lets say a school drops in classification from 5A to 4A, how does the transition from "big school band" ( I have no idea what its called) to ATSSB?? I've always been curious as to how that worked.

I live in the Killeen area (Killeen, Harker Heights, Belton, Temple, Copperas Cove, etc) and I haven't heard anything as far as show announcements but I will let y'all know!!!
